Last message of the the year! December 31st, 2013.

Good morning! I hope you are doing great and getting ready to wave goodbye to 2013 and welcome the New Year. .
The last message of the year comes from the Goddess of compassion Kuan Yin. I was wondering what is that she would like us to know and the answer is:
THE THRESHOLD
"At the Threshold you stand. Before you lies a way of being that is beyond fear. It is a sacred passing through a karmic veil into a new life of empowerment, peace, spiritual service to humanity and joy in your own Soul". 
The guidance from Kuan Yin confirms that we are in fact embarking on a phase of deepest soul liberation, into freedom of love that triumphs over fear. It has been a hard journey of many lifetimes and much inner work to perceive the light of the divine even underneath the density of fear.
We are approaching the Threshold where we can shift from fear based to love based embodiment. .
This is an important time and we are guided to surround ourselves with those that are able to support our love-based reality.
In the future we will be able to sustain the vibration even amongst beings that are based in fear, and then we will be able to offer even a greater service to this planet.
Kuan Yin wants to help connect to the beauty and potency, the love and fearless,endless joy of your own Higher Self. Do not be disheartened by any fears that are surfacing, just observe them with love and allow them to pass. It is just your inner Self releasing any vibration which is not aligned with unconditional love.
Remember that the only defense ever needed, no matter what the apparent fear or threat is, is unconditional love in the heart, which allows for compassion and detatchment. You are safe and you are quickening in your readiness to pass the threshold. Your journey is truly blessed! Love and Light. LG.

TIME AND TIDE

I don't know about you but every New Year's eve I have a few rituals that are part of my personal tradition such as writing down everything that I am grateful for and my wishes for the New Year. I love lighting candles, specially gold and silver for abundance and pink for love.
We also have the traditional twelve grapes at twelve o'clock that symbolize the twelve months of the year. We call them the lucky grapes. 
What are your traditions and rituals for New Year's Eve?
Here is what the mermaid's have to say:
It is time for a well-thought through act of connection- a ritual or spell, with the realm of the mer-beings, with the sea. When done with great formality and mindfulness, many acts can become magical and reconnect us with the sacred within us and outside of "us". You may wish to ritually bathe in a tidal pool, which could be a naturally formed rockpool, or a sacred bathtime you create for yourself. As you bathe in the sacred healing pool, allow the pool and the water to drain away everything that must be left behind for you to go forward again. The salt water crystals will drag through your auric layer, clearing and cleansing, leaving you feeling light and free, yet very present and clear.
Or you may wish to create sand castles or mandalas or sculptures near the tide line...we can shape into the sand representations of what we wish to see taken away and cleared...or what we wish the Sea Mother to take into her cauldron and help you manifest. It may be time to work with Jannarric runes, which have a great history of being drawn into the sand as messages to the great Sea beings, of all kinds. What is most important is that you act.

Happy Sunday(or Monday for some of you)!
It seems that the messages are very specific about dealing with some feelings/ issues related to relationships with family members.
As I contemplate this beautiful card from the Magdalene Oracle, I feel what Magdalene means by the family tree that she shows us. It is a tree is rooted in love and the fruit...also love!
Here is the message:
You were born into your family for a reason and a purpose, just as there is a reason and purpose for experiencing what you have experienced to date. Yet, like most of us, you probably believe in the myth that all family members should get along and always be nice to one another. Your family is your greatest teacher. Every family member will hold at least one trait that you don't like, and you have at least one trait that each of your family members doesn't like. This fact sets the perfect environment for us to learn to love unconditionally. You will discover that every perceived negative comes with a positive attached to it.
True love often comes in ways and forms that we initially fail to recognize. Yet with the passing of time you will realize that beneath our individual facades there is only love.
Love comes in many forms and it may not always be kind. Reflect on this for it will help you let go of any resentment you have towards your family or a family member.

when I look at this image I see hands that represent the physicality of the task, also the cooperation with others. It seems that the hard work is now paying off because the tree we planted is rooted and growing strong...and we can already pick up the fruits. There is a sense of satisfaction for a job well done. 
So this card is telling us that your hard work will pay off and you will start to see the fruits of your labor. Well done!

FALLING IN LOVE

There may be no closer moment of connection with the divine than the experience we call Falling in love...it is so important we do this. We allow ourselves to be overwhelmed and we surrender to bliss, but also to the possibility of pain, of betrayal or dissapointment. Fall in love but allow yourself to be real, honest, vulnerable and to move on if this love becomes painful, unfulfilling or continually a compromise.
Feeling powerfully attached to another, seeing the divine within them and experiencing the divine within yourself is extremely addictive.
It could be that you are beginning a powerful relationship which truly has magick within it, the recognition of soul within another, yet it is also wise to know thyself well and to be able to read your own patterns.
Falling in love teaches you to recognize the divine in another, so too must they recognize the divine within you. It must be mutual. An it must be a boon, not an instrument of manipulation. Now go forth and fall in love with one another, each other, the planet, the animals, the beings, the elementals, the oceans, and yourselves...and nature will then be at peace, and well, and blossoming once again.
I personally love this card and this message. By looking at the beautiful artwork by Selina Fenech I can connect with the powerful energy of love for another and everything that is.
Sometimes we find our soulmate but build big walls so that we do not get hurt, we play games so that we don't look vulnerable, or too keen...but the mermaids with this cards remind us that only love is real and that not allowing to completely fall in love is foolish because only by experiencing love we are truly alive.
How many times have we been simply existing? I am guilty of that, at some point in my life falling in love became too painful and so I invested a lot of energy avoiding it so I would not be dissapointed once it ends...I did not realize that I hurt myself in the first place by not experiencing love in its totality. 
Look at the spark of divinity in your beloved and be love.
